Cuneiform is a form of writing first developed in Mesopotamia thousands of years ago. Inspired by the symbols of this ancient writing system, California based designer Susan Watkins created the Cuneiform Collection consisting of a necklace and earrings, to interpret in the form of jewelry some of the symbols found in Cuneiform that offering one or several meanings. 

The sterling silver dangle earrings are shaped in the form of Cuneiform symbols with black wool roving (fibers)  hand needle-felted directly onto the metal form as it's centerpiece, bringing attention to the organic world as precious. A chain of black spinal beads is added horizontally, making the piece more feminine. Wear your's for a special event and pair with the Cuneiform necklace to complete the look.
